It was the silhouette of the chimneys, the banners across the road and the animation of the café that caught my attention after I had finished my espresso and looked back, having crossed the road. Of course the red blinds shouted for my attention but when painting this scene it was the chimneys that I wanted to dominate the picture and to my mind they do!
