Whilst travelling along the Brittany coast one windy day I became fascinated by the textures of the sea as the wind churned the waves approaching the shore and the way the spume was taken from the tops of the waves. I determined to attempt to capture this in watercolour using masking and scratching out. This is the resultant paining.
