This is the third in the series of watercolours that I was working on during the Gunby Hall exhibition. I wanted to particularly emphasise the texture of the loose rocks on the mountain as they are caught by the oblique sunlight and to explain the buildings by the dark tones almost semi-silhouetted against the high toned sky.
