Whilst on Duty at The Art on the Map exhibition 2018 at The National Trust's, Gunby Hall I decided that my demonstration would hinge about a landscape in Red. This watercolour was painted at the exhibition. I wanted the picture to express the textures in the landscape with high toned buildings set against a dark mountain range. To give some additional interest above the textures I flicked in the two people, the posts, gate and bushes shaped by the prevailing wind over many years.
